This is a little rushed, but wanted to get something done as I’m off to hospital early tomorrow. Shouldn’t be in for more than a couple of days, but I doubt I’ll be fit for drawing for a few days after that.
Some of you may have noticed the site go blank recently. That was my bad, not Karen’s. An update changed how the theme worked and I’d missed to announcement. So, there was some rushed rebuilding and here we are. Still needs work.
I know it’s been a while, but Karen tells me she hasn’t written the comic off. And she’s giving some thought to new comics.
So beam them love vibes her way, and maybe we’ll get some new comics. Because threatening to post the fan art I did for her doesn’t seem to be doing it (and the pic I did of Mighty Mari – well, Mari scares me and we’ve never met).
There you are, thinking to yourself “How can I read Planet Karen when I am away from my computer?” Well, now you don’t have to worry. Planet Karen is now available in handy, portable dead tree format.
Planet Karen: First Contact collects the first 200 comics from the series, along with a couple of extras and an introduction from the incomparable Gail Simone, who writes a comic you may have heard of called Wonder Woman, as well as many other excellent comics that are worth checking out if you don’t know how good she is already.
Go here to buy the book. We’re doing a special sketch edition for a limited time, where you pay extra for me to scribble all over your nice new book. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
